Alzheimer's Association - Indiana
Our Alzheimer’s units provide advanced methods in Alzheimer’s care. We are on the cutting edge of Alzheimer’s treatment by creating an environment that focuses on individuals and their stage in the disease process. We partner closely with the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Indiana to maintain an excellent level of care for our residents and families as well as supporting their organization through annual walks.
The Greater Indiana Chapter serves a 73-county region of Indiana with an estimated 110,000 people with Alzheimer’s disease. Their services include a 24/7 information and referral helpline, family care planning with a licensed social worker, support groups, family and professional education programs and Medic Alert + Safe Return.
Area 10 Agency on Aging
Area 10 Agency on Aging is the premier source of information and access to resources for seniors, persons with disabilities and family caregivers living in Monroe and Owen counties. Programs that serve our community’s rapidly growing aging population include the Aging and Disability Resource Center, case management, meal delivery and food pantry, assistance to the homebound, transportation services, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, senior housing and the Endwright Center.
