Trusted. Experienced. Caring.
For over 50 years, Garden Villa has been a trusted name who provides excellent long-term care and rehabilitation services with facilities in Bedford and Bloomington.
Garden Villa was founded in 1966 in Bloomington, IN by Lee Marchant. Three years later, a second facility was opened in Bedford, IN. Marchant is still actively involved as the owner today.
Providing a community focused on health and well-being are Marchant’s top concerns. He makes sure Garden Villa staff focus on caring for the community and providing health resources. In everything Marchant and his companies do, there is an emphasis on community, caring and health at the highest standard.
Marchant serves as the President on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Health Care Association and Vice President for the American Health Care Association.
In January 2014, Ivy Tech Community College in Bloomington named the Pain Real Estate building after Marchant. He was appointed to the Ivy Tech Community College Board of Trustees in 2005 and reappointed in 2008 by former Governor Mitch Daniels. Previously, Marchant was an Ivy Tech Foundation chairman, serving on the Board of Directors for more than 21 years.
