Art Therapy

Horticultural Therapy
Horticulture therapists focus on bringing participants closer to nature as a means
of therapy. They encourage individuals to appreciate the needs of plants and partake in various gardening activities. These activities allow participants to benefit from increased physical activity, improved relaxation and a strengthened sense of well-being.
Music Therapy
Backed by the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA), Music Therapy is an established health profession that applies the therapeutic qualities of music. Through physical involvement, participants can strengthen their physical, emotional and spiritual wellness. Activities include playing instruments, singing and songwriting.
Sensory Stimulation Therapy
A sensory stimulation environment is a room used to provide a quiet, controlled space. It is an artificially created venue that uses sensory equipment to stimulate the senses and encourage pleasure and feelings of a comfortable well-being. The sensory stimulation program is designed to promote choice, interaction and relationships through planned stimulation of an individual’s senses. It can help with the following goals:

social confidence and interaction
