My mother, Anna, is a resident of Garden Villa in Bedford. I'd like to express my thanks to the entire staff for giving their love and care. I have never found a time or person associated with this home that wasn't amazingly thoughtful to her and our entire family. Mother fell and broke her hip early 1992 and has been living there since then. We thought a number of times we were losing her, but the staff has always been able to change things through their care, oxygen, physical therapy, hospitality visits, etc. Thanks again for the great care each of you have shown toward Mother. I could never have done one-tenth as well for her. You are truly appreciated.

In 1997 my husband and I had to make one of the most difficult decisions we had ever made. After suffering 2 strokes in 1992, the time had come when Sorry required more help than I was able to provide at home.

After researching and discussing with friends and family, Sorry became a resident here on April 29, 1997. During these past years we have made many friends with residents and staff. I spend many hours a week here and this has become my home away from home. The entire staff had helped both of us accept this change in our lives with dignity and a deep caring for the other residents.

We are on first name basis with most everyone; Barbara, who always makes time for us, Viki, always polite and helpful, Charlie, who had a way of making you smile, Karen and Carrie with activity news, Evelyn, who cuts our hair, Bruce with his uplifting worship services and all those in nursing, therapy, dietary and housekeeping.

If we had to make the decision again concerning Sorry's care, we would approach it with much less dread, knowing that Garden Villa is here for us. There's no place like home, but in our situation, this is the next best place

Lowell had been very satisfied with the accommodations at Garden Villa in Bedford. He had nothing but praise for your facility and staff.

Many times he had told me "they treat me like a king here." He not only had been treated with understanding and respect but I also have received nothing but kindness. When my brother became a resident at Garden Villa, we were concerned about the care we would receive. But we were very impressed by the love and compassion shown to him immediately upon his arrival.

The staff was well trained to meet his specific needs, mentally and physically. He has adjusted very well.

I visit with him daily and I am always greeting by the employees with a friendly smile and hello. I feel welcomed by them. Not only on Marty's unit, but throughout the facility. Thanks to all.
